We have big news for you! We are pleased to announce a special event where you can ride your bicycle on a 3000 meter runway, "runway cyclingwill be held at Aso Kumamoto Airport!
It is a dreamlike experience to ride a bicycle on the runway where airplanes take off and land, an area that is normally inaccessible to the public! Isn't it exciting just to imagine it?
The runway of Kumamoto Airport is not just a flat road. In fact, there is a 12 meter difference in elevation between the east and west sides. The 12 meter difference in elevation is the equivalent of a 4-story building.Very dynamic course with elevation changes of up to 3,000 metersJust as airplanes take off from the runway and accelerate, you too can feel the difference in elevation and enjoy cycling with a completely different sensation than you normally do. The exhilaration of riding an e-bike on a vast runway where huge airplanes take off and land, with the wind cutting through the air, is exceptional!
